Okay, so here’s how I rate movies on Letterboxd. This isn’t some critic-style breakdown. It’s just my way of making sense of what I watched.

⭐ One Star
It’s a film. That’s it. It exists. I watched it.

⭐ ⭐ Two Stars
I respect the effort. Maybe the film didn’t work for me, but I acknowledge the time, energy, and creativity that went into making it.

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Three Stars
A watch-and-forget type of film. It’s not bad. If you ask me if it’s good, I’ll probably say “yeah, it’s okay.” Nothing memorable, but not a waste of time either.

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Four Stars
When I actually enjoyed the film. Maybe it made me laugh, maybe it made me feel something, maybe it had some thrill. Doesn’t matter the genre. I just had a good time.

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Five Stars
This is when a film truly connects with me. I get what the filmmakers were trying to say or show, and it hits just right. I really liked it, and I’d happily recommend it to friends.
